Nice thing with the F/A-18E Super Hornet (aka Rhino, aka Super Bug) is that there are a wide range of munitions that it is checked out for. Which manufacturer for your 1/48 kit?

Stations 1 to 11
1 and 11 are the wing tip stations and should have either AIM-9X or AIM-9M.
2 and 10 are usually armed with a single AIM-120B/C on each, or a single Mk82 bomb each
Station 6 on the center is usually occupied by a 480 gallon drop tank.
If you have the Hasegawa kit it should come with a pair of horizontal ejectors. These are used for free fall weapons. You can put a pair of Mk82 bombs on each one or a pair of Mk83.
Guided munitions are a single round per hardpoint. A single GBU-16 on 3, 4, 8,and 9 will work fine. AGM-65 is a single round on the same stations.
Station 7 has become the home of the AN/ASQ-228 ATFLIR. Its a must for targeting many weapons and is used for night navigation. Station 5 is usually empty. You will see many pictures of the Super-Hornet with an asymetric loadout of drop tanks. The 480 gallon drop tank on station 8 is omitted for some missions because it mask the view of the ASQ-228. If the mission objective requiires a lot of paveways you'll see the station 8 empty.
If you have an air 2 air mission in mind I can look that up. I researched this topic after I got snubbed by a ribbot counter at a show.
