F/A-18D USMC

I'm building a model of a USMC F/A-18D. I want to arm it for a night time interdiction mission, in the 2003 timeframe. I have the night time navigation and FLIR pods, but what would be a moe typical loadout:

1. 330 gallon tank on the centerline, and 4 horizontal ejectors with 2 Mk83 bombs each on the wing hard points.

2. 330 gallon tank on the centerline and 4 MER with a total of 24 Mk82 bombs.

I have a night attack -D in the stash too. The best I can say from looking at pics, is that the pair of bombs on the hard points is more commonly seen...

There are also some interesting, non-sysmetical loadouts too!

Now that I'm here, where am I??

MERs are not part of the normally authorized loadout on USN/USMC Hornets

You probably want a Litening FLIR pod on station 4.  2xGBU-12 or GBU-16 dual-loaded on BRU-33 racks on 2,3,7 & 8. A fuel tank at 5.   Optional Sparrow or AMRAAM at 6

This symetrical configuration limits the  field of view of the FLIR. A unique 'ugly duckling' load may be to leave 5 empty and replace the bombs on 7 with the tank.   This opens the FOV to the right

Thanks. I was wondering about the MER, I have some documentation but wasn't sure how good it was. Its in the trash now.
