Nice finish here! Rocket pods and missiles are a nice touch. The markings turned out great. I see you got the Cuban Roundels to settle nicely against the raised detail on the rear of the fuselage.Yes

Amazing job Marc, that's a really nice build. And that scheme is really different and looks great. And thanks for the explanation on the black basing.

Marc,

Great looking MiG.  Love the different Cuban scheme.  Great job all around, thanks for sharing.  makes me want to dig out my Eduard Mig thats for sure (although it would be a European scheme if I recall correctly).

Thanks for posting.

Great colors and a great job, Marc! I'm not usually much for Soviet aircraft, but the -21 just looks right. I may have to pick one of these up.

Gear doors. LG hydraulics, ELINT pod and weapons wraps up this build.  Got to be honest... kind of sad this one's over.  The weapons are from Eduard.  Rocket pods were a simple 2 part affair but the 1 1/2" long RS-2US missiles were 10 parts.

Thanks to all that followed along.

Marc,

I don't know what to say other than I love everything about that build. My favorite part is the paint and markings, but man, you did a STELLAR job on this one!

Thanks Dave. Yup, pretty sweet kit. I want to do another.

Thanks gamera.  Only advise I can give is be careful bot to over do the top coat. easy to cover it all up.

Ouch Marc, I hadn't noticed that you'd finished. Wonderful work as usual, I may have to try out this preshading technique myself.

Thanks John. Right now it's on the dust shelf. Someone has to die to make room inside the case for a dust free life.

Thanks very muck. If you did';t see the name above it's Incredible White Mask Liquid Frisket. I got it at Hobby Lobby but it's likely at AC Moore or Michael's or whatever equivalent you have near you.

Gorgeous looking build! A quick question, where do you find liquid frisket film? I've seen the actual film in sheet and rolls, but never a liquid form.
