Just finished this off,OOB. Not sure how old this kit is but it is a very nice kit and goes together well.


Painted with MIG acrylic (Dark Green), AK Xtreme metal (Aluminium) and Humbrol Cockpit green for the intake cone.  Other paints used - Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics. Flory dark dirt wash, and Vallejo satin varnish.

Really nice work! Those curved colour demarcation lines at the front wing roots look like a bear to mask and paint- but she looks flawless!

Not a big fan of the Lightning, but you did mighty fine work on this one, Grant.

 

Im guessing this is a newer Airfix release, judging by the engraved lines and better looking detail.
