So I have started watching this Amazon Prime production this week. It is based on a book by Phillip K *** that tells the story on a world in which the Allies lost WWII and is now dominated by the *** and the Japanese in an uneasy co-existence. Great book. *** also wrote the book that the movie Blade Runner was based upon.

So to keep this relevant for this forum, watch closely during the opening credits. There are a couple of shots of aircraft - one looks like a Heinkle He111 with its distinctive wings, and the other is an aircraft ablaze that is spinning out of control. From what you can see, it has twin booms, and the shape of the wings is clearly defined - perhaps a Focke Wulf Fw189.

That is just about it. The show is not about the war at all, it is set in the early 1960s. There is a supersonic aircraft featured briefly but I think that is likely a fictional airplane. The credit scenes look like actual news reel footage.
