Ultimately you have to be the judge of your build but the panels didn't bother me at all.

I would think a couple of coats of primer would fill in any overly deep panel lines.

I've built it and I thought it was an excellent kit.  Most of the parts fit together very well and ther where only a few spots that needed any filler and/or sanding.

As for the raised details...yes, they are out of scale a bit but I wouldnt waste my time sanding them down.  You can't really see them when its all built up.

Has anyone built this kit?

I read a review that said it was excellent other than the overdone details on the fuselage.

The reviewer said they could probably be lightly sanded to make it more realistic so I was wondering if anyone has tried this?
