Nice WIP. I will be following as well. Since the kit came with airfield equipment/vehicles, are you planning on completing this as a dio to portray all the pieces. Would love to see this as such!

Nice! Im quite sure this 1/48 kit is smaller than a 1/72 F-14.

It was a German project that never made it past the drawing board. It had a lot of influance on post war designs. It has been noted how similar the design is to the MiG 15 but the Russians of course deny it had any influance. The American F-86 also shares some of its charactristics. Those weapons under the wings are X-4 wire gudd Air to Air missiles. There are some claims that this saw some use at the end of the war, but no evidance for it.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

I'm guessing this is the AmTech kit re-boxed by Tamiya, with the Kettenkrad thrown in. Looking forward to seeing this built!

This does look like one to follow. I am a bit of a Luft 46 fan as well so will be following along.
This would have gone nicely into the 46 GB, but good to see your doing a thread on it.
very nice scored. This kit is hard to find now. I built the same kit last year oob as Luft46s is my most favorite subject. Looking forward to your build.
This build will start in few days .
Tamiya Focke Wulf Ta183a 1/48 scale . Saw this a few weeks ago at my hobby shop buried . The owner gave me a good deal . So it came home with me .
I will be working on this with my Ch 53 E build . I'm starting feel like working on it .
