1/72 Fine Molds Bf109 F-4 'Marseille'
Posted by Nezih Icoz on Thursday, December 10, 2015 10:47 AM

Hello all,

This is my first model post Pirate My lastest work, Fine Molds 1/72 Messeschmitt Bf109 F-4... Flown by Hans-Joachim Marseille in North Africa 1942. I really like the plastic quality and molding details. It has no any fitting problem.

I painted by acrylic paints RLM 78-79 and weathered by oil colors, dry pastel powder and color pencils. I made some mistakes on decals but it is acceptable i think.

Maybe you already know about this kit but it was my first Fine Mold experience and i am happy from the result. Hopefuly you will enjoy too. Best wishes.

Hello Nezih!

Lookin' good! That's really a classic bird. Do you also model more modern subjects? Keep 'em photos comin' and have a nice day

Beautiful job !  I love the paint scheme.  My next BF 109 is going to be this color due to your inspiration.

That looks really nice. I have built FM Star Wars kits but not got any of their aircraft yet, glad to hear it was a nice build.

That looks really nice. I have built FM Star Wars kits but not got any of their aircraft yet, glad to hear it was a nice build.

I am glad that you liked it. If you will find any 1/72 scale aircraft of FM, you should add to your stash directly, I have Me-410 and also other Bf109 variant also some IJN aircraft. All of them impressive.

Really nice work, I love the shading and weathering. And considering how small a 1/72nd Bf-109 is it's even more impressive. Thanks for sharing and thanks for joining us. Welcome Sign

YesYesYesYes Beer Cheers! Sir, Yes I highly recommend FM WW2 models. They seems like little bit expansive for the 1/72 scale but for this quality it's acceptable i think.

Nezih very nicely done. Always wondered about the fine molds 109's. I did a 410 close to 20 years ago and really liked it. I may now have to pick some more up.

Hello Johnny, thank you so much. As Bish said, it is easy to find FM models anymore. Yen currency is low now and you should find them easily on eBay. Best wishes

Nice looking "Friedrich"! I see you like Bf-109s. Your models look more like 1/48! I admire details - white bands on tires looks great!

Hello Aleksander, thank you for your nice words, it was only chance that i share only Bf109, to be honest i'm bored from Bf109s. I used rapido pencil with white ink for these stripes on tire. Take care
