Mopar Madness

Very cool!  I'll have to give this one a try.

If you have italeri Mk.Vb kit, i suggest you to use its body... It is more detailed kit for AZ Model MK.Vb and it should be replaced easly with Italeri i think. Thx a lot..

Thanks for posting that model !

I saw the kit on the UMM website

http://umm-usa.com/onlinestore/index.php

but did not know what the kit looked like when assembled.

It really looks good. Big SmileYes

Do you also have a Spitfire V in Turkish markings?

Nezih, i have just noticed what you have on the bench. Some builds i find relly intetesting there. I take it the Ju 87A is the Special Hobby kit, i was just woundering if you were going to alter the rubber on that.

Would love to se a thread on that as well as the 555, which i am starting in the new year myself, and the Ju 87G.

I have to admit, that is really a pretty neat looking SPit. Nice work. I thought it was a bigger size. Well done.

Gamera

Really nice work, I too love the camo and the weathering/chipping. And so much yellow, I hate it, it won't cover anything and is a pain to paint. But you did a great job with it.

Thank you so much. Yes you are right Sir, yellow is the most problem pigment. I couldn't share building process of it sorry. I used red brown under yellow as a pre-shading and i was lucky that sprue plastic color was dark yellow.

Also i hate red color, it is very strong pigment and if i don't clear it very carefuly all other paints after it become reddish... I try to sprey it at last. Propeller

Bish

Now thats a Spitfire i like.

Really nice work, i have herad the AZ kits are not brilliant, but they do some nice variants. Greta work on the scheme and nice chipping.

Thx a lot. I agree with you, it is anyway a Spitfire. Very soon i'll share my AZ model Bf109 and it has really good molding and clear fitting.  They upgraded their quality on the new models maybe.

Nezih.

1/72 Messer-Spit
Posted by Nezih Icoz on Thursday, December 10, 2015 4:06 PM

Or 'Messer-Fire', 'Spit-Schmitt' shoud be other name alternatives for this aircraft Stick out tongue

This strange airplane is the force landed and captured Spitfire Mk.Vb in 1942. It was being tested by Luftwaffe Researh Facility and Merlin Engine replaced with Daimler-Benz DB 605A.

It is Brengun 1/72 scale model kit. Spitfire sprues are belong to AZ model. Brengun added small sprue for the engine convertion.

I couldn't imagine that i should use Italeri Mk.V for the body. AZ model has very weak details and plastic quality also kit has very big fitting problems. But anyway there is no any other alternative for this airplane in 1/72 scale. I hope you will like it. Thanks for the looking.

Nezih
