Thanks for fixing the images Pawel and thank you for the comments everyone. Nazih this kit goes together well but the distinctive droop of the nose on the Etendard is a bit too subtle on academy's kit imho. There is also the 1/72 air fix version but I'm not sure how that builds.

Welcome to the forums ( sorry a little belated )

WOW that's 1/72 scale ?   Your detailing makes it look much bigger. Very, very impressive work mate.

That's beautiful work ST, love the camo. Welcome to the forum!

And thanks Pawel for fixing the links, I'm not too good at that stuff myself.

Good job Pawel... I love this aircraft so much also you built it nicely. I have Heller kit in my stash but i think Academy has better quality anyway .

Hello!

Looks like you forgot to add "http://" at the beginning of the links to the images - I know it's picky, but it's important to the computer. So after a little hacking, the pictures are:

Lookin' good, congratulations! Keep 'em babies comin' and have a nice day

That is a very nice OOB build.  Excellent camo!

Nicely done, Simon.  The colors look spot on and match the decals very well.   Always liked the Sue, but haven't tried one.  Yours makes me think I should pick one up...

Completed & 1st on forum: Academy 1/72 Dassault Super Etendard
Posted by SimonTemplar on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 5:06 PM

Hi All,

This is my first completed build on the forum since joining a few weeks ago. It's Academy's 1/72 Dassault Super Etendard with the limited edition decals for a French Navy aircraft from the carrier Charles de Gaulle during Operation Harmattan (Libya) in 2011. I built it straight out of the box but swapped out one of the kit supplied exocet missiles for an aftermarket LGB more fitting for the Harmattan missions.
