I used Testors Yellow from the small square bottles on mine.  Looks pretty good.

If you're willing to use Craft Acrylics pick up some 'School Bus Yellow' at Michaels, AC Moore or WalMart. It, too, is a close match.

Piper J-3, Hobby Craft: Where do I find "Cub Yellow".

Recently started Hobby Craft's 1:48 Piper J-3.  Replicating a Cub that is owned by a friend of mine.  Among my reference sources is the January 2001 (Vol. 19, Issue 1) issue of FSM.  In the FSM article Chuck Stout recommends Boyd's "Smoothster Yellow" as being very close to "Cub Yellow".  I am unable to find Boyd Paints anywhere.  Can anyone suggenst a substitute or do I just start blending & mixing?  Thanks in advance for any help.
