WOW Mike. That's a little piece of modeling heaven. Just gorgeous. It has great "scale" appearance.

Thanks for the kind comments, glad you like it :)

Did you have any trouble with the top windows?

Thanks ikar01. The upper windows in the kit are thick, distorted and don't fit particularly well, so I cut them all out and inserted a new section of clear plastic, sanded to shape and polished. The separate panes were then masked with tape, so I ended up with clear, flush windows.

I'm pretty sure they used a O-2 in Bat 21.

I have to get my Thai Navy O-1 started.  Did you have any trouble with the top windows?

Absolutely incredible work!  I know what this kit looks like from the box, and to bring it to this level of beauty requires exceptional skills.  Excellent work!

I was just thinking that I've already commented on this build and I couldn't find it here lol.

Then I realized that you're also a member of Genessis lol!

Cheers, mate!

Still a very fine and gorgeous build. No matter what site we're on ;)

Another beauty.  I suspect you spent some time thinning and polishing that windshield.

I'm not sure if that is the same kind of plane but when I saw the pics I thought immediately of "Bat 21", the movie with Gene Hackman as a downed pilot in Vietnam.

Another nice build. You do super clean work.

Small but accurate 70s kit by Airfix. A resin cockpit set was added and the panel lines re-scribed. I used the kit front and rear windscreen but replaced all the other clear parts as they were thick and distorted. Finished with home-made Thai counter-insurgency decals.
