I fix real planes and it is not more difficult...............it just takes a whole lot of more money and time LOL

Very nicely done biplane!
No bucks, no Buck Rogers
Not bad Theuns! Looks like you fixed it right up. =] I wish fixing real planes were that easy.

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.
Theuns For the turnbuckles I mixed brass humbroll paint into slightly thinned PVA glue to make a brass paste. This I just applied onto the rigging wires to look like a turnbuckle, it 72 and 48 scale it works for me but might be to crude for larger scales.

Really nice Theuns, very clean build. And a great save after dropping it!
Theunsturnbuclkles are made of wood glue and brass paint.
Sounds interesting, can you describe this technique please?
Marc
That is meticulously done sir!

It was the weekend edition kit, decals only for this aerie but I enjoyed it (except for the dropping part!).
The overall fit was good, not a finiky one to build.
I used the stock decals , even the rudder one went around the edges well with mulitiple microsol applications.
I only added some brace wires to the inside of the office and drilled out the seat as per full size.
Theuns,
Excellent work! Looks like you recovered nicely from the mishap.
How is the Eduard kit fit and detail overall?
Gary
I used humbrol linnen as a base colour, masked off the ribtapes and dusted tamiya smoke over the rest.Weathering is very light to lok like a relatively new plane of ace Paul Albert Pierre Tarascon.Rigging is EZ line and turnbuclkles are made of wood glue and brass paint.
I was just about done with this plane when I dropped the darn thing and had to re-attach the top wing and rigging!
