Nice job finishing the kit!

I can easily envision ikar01 using a 4 inch hand held angle grinder to remove all the boiler plate rivets..............WhistlingSurpriseHmm

An interesting aircraft.  Also notable for being rocket assisted.

Wikipedia lists the XF-91 as being the first US "fighter" to break the sound barrier in level flight,  December, 1951.  It also says that with both rocket and jet power on the aircraft could reach a speed of mach 1.71.  Very impressive for that time.

XF-91

This is the Lindberg XF-91 Thundercepter.  It's a typical old kit with almost no detail so I added some to the landing gear, intake, exhaust and put the Monogram F-84F cockpit in.

Love those butterfly wing tips.
