Thank you all for the kind words!
Bish WOW, 320 scale, that looks sweet. Nice job on the pics as well, i find it hard enough getting decent pics of 1/72nd builds. And i can't believe you were thinking of scratching a pit for it.

Well, yeah. I did build cockpits for my 1/200 KC-767 and 1/200 C-130H, although after assembly you could hardly see them. lol

Outstaning build, blown away especially for 1/320
Yeah, I know its "Extender" but this is the model I was talking about in the thread "Projects You Wish You Hadnt Started."
This began as a 1:320 Revell DC-10 kit I picked up years ago from a LHS. What I had in mind was a simple DC-10-KC-10 conversion. Sort of an in-between-major-builds project. So last year I finally said Ill build it.
Ambition got the better of me and I ended up deciding to drop the leading and trailing edges, make new landing gear doors and aerials. Not to mention the refueling boom and the probe and drogue chute and homemade markings. Thank goodness I stopped myself from building a cockpit as, after I installed the somewhat blurred clear windscreen, there was really no choice but paint it up black.
Months into the project it was becoming clear I had either underestimated the work I needed to do, or overspecified the mods I originally intended. I just needed to finish it.
Oh well. So here she is, the little tanker hangar queen.
