Yea, my line of thinking. I'll try incremental applications of future and see how long it takes to " fill " the pit. I'll post results. Thanks Wolf.

Man, that sucks.  Assuming you don't want to ask the manufacturer for a new canopy, you could try using something like Future (whatever they call it this week) to fill it in, or white glue.  It will take several applications, but it could work.  Let us know what you do, as I'm sure this has or will happen to all of us sometime.

I'm gonna try and post a pic but I'm having problems with Photobucket. This canopy was removed with a scapel, but due to the sprue being ingrained into it it's left with a "pit" and any further scraping will only make it worse. I figure judicious painting on the frame will alleviate most of the damage but what about the glass? Ideas,methods or suggestions appreciated.
