I'm working on the Revell B-17 kit presently and wanted to do the speciific plane that a relative served on. It was toward the end of the war, stationed in England, Ridgewell I believe, and the name of the plane was "Begin the Beguine". I've searched and have not been able to find. Before I give up, I figured I'd post here to see if anyone knows if there would be a way to get those particular decals.
Hi Spitfire
l couldn't find any pictures of the nose art for "Begin the Beguine" which would be useful for trying to fashion a decal.
The information I have refers to the plane having two names "Begin the Beguine"/"She Dood It" possibly located on either side of the nose.
It was a B-17G-45-BO s/n 42-97323 and assigned to the 368BS/306BG coded [BO*M] She flew her missions from Thurleigh (100+ missions) until transferred to the 534BS/381BG at Ridgewell in May 1945 and back in the US by June 11 1945.

Have you tried to find a veteren's group for the squadron that your relative flew with? I was able to track down a picture and full details for a plane my music teacher flew as a bombadier, including a picture of the crew in front of the plane. Hope that helps, and good luck.

Thanks for the responses. I think the plane was a late entry in the war and therefore there is probably not much out there on it. I appreciate the information provided.
All you have to do is google for the 306th Bomb Group Association website. 30 seconds and here it is:

WIP: Monogram 1/72 B-26 (Snaptite) as 73rd BS B-26, 40-1408, torpedo bomber attempt on Ryujo
Monogram 1/72 B-26 (Snaptite) as 22nd BG B-26, 7-Mile Drome, New Guinea
Minicraft 1/72 B-24D as LB-30, AL-613, "Tough Boy", 28th Composite Group
Thanks to all who responded. That was great information.
