Natural metal finish.

In 1943 (IIRC)A RLM order was given, that all parts that are not prone to corrosion and are not lying in the dirct airflow are to be left unpainted.

This order was not implemented by all companys directls, but it is most likely that in 1944/45 the Wheel well were left unpainted.

For the some D9 and most Ta 152 variants, you could paint the wheel bay straight aluminum.  Due to a lack of resources and raw materials near the wars end, shortcuts were taken.  Sometimes wheels bays received no paint at all.
