Ray,

Glad you are back and feeling better!

Hey, Eduard has a weekend edition of this aircraft: Here

The weekend editions do not have all the PE in the kit and are intended to be simpler to build.

Hope this helps!

Edit: Shop around, the link was intended as an example.

Help deciding on an Albatross D V 1:48

Hey guys! I hope everyone is doing well. I finally had to step back for a while with my back, and let things heal. Things are getting better, and I’m ready to start sitting at the bench again. I’ve got a couple of projects in the que already, but I’ve got a special request from my beautiful bride… She happens to be a high school history teacher, whose classes will be doing World War One museum projects.

I’m going do a diorama of one of the Red Barron’s Albatross D Vs. I thought about picking up an Eduard @ 1:48, but I don’t know if I want to do all the PE. My understanding is that the Revel is the same kit, but without all the fuss?

Any ideas or suggestions? Raymond
