This was my first egg plane, Hasegawa SR-71, a real fun little build....good to get some "complete it" build feeling inbetween more serious projects.

I never had any interest in these eggs but our IPMS has an egg plane chalange for easter so I got one....glad I did cause it was such fun :-)

When they first came out in the late 70s they were called egg-o-centrics.  The selection was quite a bit smaller back then.

 

Yesterday I say a kit with the space shuttle and its 747 hauler in the same box.

 

Our club had a display of egg planes on a carrier deck at the nationals held at Disney a few years ago.

Nice work on the SR-71, even if it does look like it went through a time warp and didn't come out the far side quite right.
