If I remember right, at my age, that F-15 kit was the first to actually have Bay 5 included.  Later they came out with a special box with a Golden William Tell emblem after the Shogun team from Kadena won their string of victories at the competition in Florida.  It was also about that time that all Eagles in the 18th T.F.W. received the Shogun markings.  The only difference was the outer tail color changed depending on the squadron color.

12th TFS yellow

44th TFS blue

67th TFS red

Good to know :)

Thanks for the heads up on the engine ferrings. I'll give them some special attention when I start putting it together.

The F-15 is a nice kit. Dragon 262 kits are a little fiddly to build especially the engines to wing

A couple of new finds
Posted by qlabs on Thursday, March 10, 2016 8:28 AM

Just wanted to share a couple of great new finds from this months club meeting.
An me-262 night fighter, he100 record setter and an f-15c that I won in the raffle.

I can't wait to dive into these builds!

Has anyone built any of these kits? Any reccomendations or things to look out for?
