I don't have any closeups, but from what I understand, it is hinged at the top with a prop rod on the left side to hold it up.

F-14 OPEN nose pictures

I have been working on and off on the 1/32 Tamiya F-14 for 2 years and finally nearing completion.

Since I want to have this in the static position I would like to open the nose.

Does anyone have closeups of how the nose was hinged. I understand that I will probably have to scratch build this but it will be worth it.

Thanks
