Squadron's "Encore" series kits

I have the Encore 1/48 F-102 and the A-37, which are both Monogram molds. I really like Monogram kits and don't mind raised panel lines, so all the extra goodies are just icing on the cake for me. They are a bit pricy, but I managed to get both on sale for less than $25 each.

I also bought that Czech Grumman kit from squadron what a let down 

I purchased the Encore 1/48 P-40B from Squadron. It came in a plastic bag, but it looks like a decent kit. It was only $20, so I can't complain. I've been looking at the 1/48 F-102 Encore kit, which maybe a future purchase. But, the remainder of the kits are a bit pricy for my tastes.

I have the Encore 1 /48th F-102, it is Monogram's mold. I think that this kit is pretty good. The kit come with resin seat, intakes, Falcon missles, cockpit and more. Encore kits are pricey but every once in a while you can get them on sale.  

I have to say what I always say, a bad experience is that all the way, but it's always an open question.

In this case, the original kit isn't available, so a repop may be better than nothing.

Well it all depends on where the original plastic comes from. Their newest release is the HobbyBoss F-84F kit with a resin seat, and that kit is very good. 

The price for those kits is quite high, supposedly with the limited run and extra detailing pieces. Is it the plastic itself, or is the difficulty coming from trying to fit their resin upgrades?
