1/32 Revell Beaufighter

I'm with the other guys, you did a nice job of overcoming difficulties on this venerable kit.  I still have a soft spot for Revell's 1/32 kits, since I cut my teeth on them back in the Seventies, but I recognize that they are a little dated.  Still, they can be built into nice models of the subjects, and yours looks great.  I'd like to see more photos, too, especially more photos of the bits you scratch-built or modified.

Thank you for sharing that, this model was one of few 1/32 revell models i actually never built. You are right, Beaufighter is a classic and we need a retooled model. Shawn G

Looks like you wrestled this oldie but goody into shape quite nicely! Any chance of more completed photos? Some side and lower angle views to show off that work?

This was the kit that finally pushed me over the edge and got me back into modeling in 1995. I had been thinking about after finishing my education but just never could pull that trigger. Then one day I am browsing shelves at a K-Mart when I see this Beaufighter. I had never built it when I was younger but the Beaufighter was always a favorite of mine. I grabbed that kit that day (plus a whole bunch of other Monogram kits) and that was all she wrote.

Even with these issues, it looks to me that you've overcome them.  Your build looks first rate.
