Airfix 1/24 Supermarine Spitfire MK Vb

Having seen an article recently where a 1/48 Airfix Spitfire Mk Vb was converted with the help of an aftermarket kit into a Mk Vc version, this has made me want to do a similar project. However, the difference with me is that my model is a 1/24 Airfix Spitfire Vb. I've taken a fancy to wanting to model one of the Spitfires that flew in the South East Asia theatre of operations in WW2 that sported the RAF roundels that omited the red in the middle to avoid confusion with the Japanese red roundels. Some of these Spits also flew with the RAAF, and possibly other nations too in the Far East. As I 've just recently learned, most of the Spits in the Far East were the Mk Vc version and not the Vb. Unfortunately, the 1/24 scale is not well endowed with aftermarket material for conversion, including relevant decals. I'm a medium skilled modeler, and would not have the confident, yet anyway, to venture doing scratchbuilding for a project requiring adapting correctly a 1/24 scale aircraft. Does anybody know of a way forward here please - are there any convertion kits - or should I just forget about it and stick to modeling the Vb out of the box? If I fail in this large scale, then I could always revert to the 1/48 scale as seen in the aforementioned article.
