Accurate Miniatures B-25
Posted by MIG17 on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 11:03 PM
Just bought one at Hobby Lobby- 1/2 price = 21 bux!

However- The decal sheet is missing the &*$%!)! gauge faces for the instrument panel. Is there supposed to be a seperate sheet, or what?

Gonna write AM next and ask them. Looks like a great kit!

I got the B model. I did see a review and seen where the instrument panel decals are supposed to be on the decal sheet. Mine are not there, strange.

I have an extra set of those if you have something to offer in a trade lets talk. Email me. We are not really supposed to do that on this forum. So email me at the email link below and maybe we can work something out.

If you put your email on your profile other members can email you. Take care.

My decals were missing for the panel as well, my reaction was the same @*&!@#
heheh. I painted the instrument panel flat black, let dry, then the back of it flat white
Then used a pin to carefully scrape the black faces to represent the instruments. Not perfect, but looks good anyway.

I got the B model as well, However I ordered one of them from Great Models that was an opened box and that it had a different set of Decals than what was supposed to be. I ordered two from them, one was a bagged kit and so it had no decals the other came with a set from Superscale number 48-825. If you have the DIRTY DORA set they do not have the instrument panels on them. That set is for the C/D models. you may have gotten them instead. It depends. Send Am an email you may get them or you may not. I have tried to get ahold of them for months and haven't gotten a response yet. Good luck. If you need that Doolittle set I have one I can part with for a trade or something. Let me know off the forum. again we arent' supposed to do that here. But I think that when we are helping one another out we might get away with it. You might even be able to paint the instrument panels instead.

I contacted A/M, they replied to my email right away, had the decals about 7 days later. Thanks for the offers, I was mainly wondering why they were'nt there.
