BUFFCON 21 - April 4th, 2004

If you're a modeler in or near the Buffalo, NY area (or ANYWHERE in the mid & northeast) then BUFFCON is the place to be on April 4th. This show has become one of the premiere one-day shows in the entire USA, averaging 500-550 entries over the past ten years.

The dealers never disappoint, nor are the dealers ever disappointed. Wink [;)]
And our "Mother of All Raffles" is just that!

We've also almost doubled our floorspace while remaining at the same easy-to-find location which has more parking than Disney World. (slight writer's embellishment there...) Oh yeah, and if the snackbar isn't your style, there's plenty of eats right across the street...

If you're interested in more info, check it out HERE.

The 'Buffcon Boys' & Spruester are looking forward to seeing you there!!

COUNT ME IN !!

I haven't missed it in years. Of course, I, like Blackwolf, am a member of the club that puts it on. Some very high ranking people have said it is one of the best one day shows in the country. So come and see us, you won't be disappointed, at least not with the show, maybe with Blackwolf an me though.Big Smile [:D]

....attended last year for the 1st time, and WOW was it great!! I'm coming this year with my 2 sons. The best part of the whole show is the open judging used for the Bantams and Juniors. A great way to build a child's self-esteem while introducing our great hobby to them! Looking forward to meeting some of you guys while I'm there this year!! I'll also be taking LOTS of photos for the IPMS website, so the cheesecake thing would definitely be a good thing!

Best Regards,

James Kelley

I only wish the cheesecake bit were true... Disapprove [V]

Glad you appreciate the little extra we try to give the kids, James. They're the future of the hobby and they need all the encouragement we can give.

And Mike, it don't get any more scary than you, my friend. Wink [;)]

Tempting, but a bit of a drive from Chicago. Would never make it past the USAF Musem at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton anyway. Unless I cut through that 51st state of ours to the NorthBig Smile [:D] where they either talk like their from that movie Fargo or Pepe LePew.... hmmmmm.

Belgium is not that far away. A left turn at Iceland, veer to the right at Goose Bay and you're there. Big Smile [:D]

Hey Mikey,

You were at Pburgh AFB?? KC-135s or F-111s???

I grew up there, went to college there...in fact, I'm headed back up tp Plattsburgh for CanAmCon IV on the 17th!!

Jeff Herne

PS: I won't be making BuffCon this year, Replicon on Long Island is the 3rd, then NJHMA is on the 4th, then the Plattsburgh trip on the 17th, then Region 1 on the 30th-1st, so there's no way the missus is gonna let me go to Buffalo for the day...the weather is supposed to be lousy, so I won't be flying up...
