today i decited to get to work on my first plane, since i have only build ships before, it is the revell spitfire Mk22/24, but to paint a camo, ill need an airbrush which i wont get soon (will get one later), so is there a way to paint the camo with brush? or is there an version of the spitfire that does not have camo?

You can brush the camouflage if you so choose. You can also mask and use spray cans as well. There's techniques for each style that can give good results.

Heres how I'm doing British Night Camouflage on a model.

I did use an airbrush, but cans would have been fine. The method is to draw the camouflage pattern full sized on paper. Then cut and tape them on. RAF is perfect because the camouflage is sort of soft edged ( 1/2"), and if you let the edge of the paper float a tiny bit, and control the angle of the spray, it makes a nice effect. More than scale for sure, but I like it.

 

 Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Many Spitfire 22/24's were in overall silver.  That might be a good spray can option for you...

thanks for al the tips, ill go test and look how the camo will turn out with a brush, and of it looks horrible ill just paint it silver i guess ;3
