mh 53 e rotor fold?
Posted by Theuns on Sunday, June 26, 2016 1:23 AM

Guys I know it shoulf be on the rotorwing forum but there is more trafic here :-)

I want to build a MH 53e with folded rotors and tail. Ihave tralled the net for pix and found a few.

Question - I have seen pix of folded totors where there are no tubular braces holdong them to the rear boom, some where only the most "outboard" rotors have supports and the rest seem to have only tie-downs.

Where can I go look for more info on this?

I assume the "full house" tube structure holding the rotors were for long term storage and the other ways for short term to and from the hanger deck?

Thanx
