I did these for a group build on the UAMF and thought I|'d post them up here for you guys.
Israeli Spitfire MKIX from the Italeri kit and MK VI from the SMER kit (If I do another or a MKVII I'll use the Italeri kit, not saying the SMER one is not good but......)
Lastly the long and the shot of it, the wingspan I mean.

Thanks for the kind words guys. They are indeed 1/72. The Smer kit is the old Heller mould and to be honest, there are far better models out there of the Spitfire. It was a bit of a filler monster. The Italeri one in contrast was a nice thing to put together. The only issue I had was my own making, I hosed up pinting the rudder stripes (poor masking - the paint ran under the tape) and it certainly shows.
