Daren, you will be going from the Columbia Metropolitan Airport to the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. It has been years since I have been there; but it should be basically the same today!
When you exit the airport you should be on 802 Plat Spring Rd (if there is a turn option, turn right). You will go under I-26 and merge onto Route 1.
You will be on Route 1, Meeting Street continue over the river where it turns into Gervais Street. Pass Uger St and make the fourth right turn onto Lincoln St, the CMC will be on the right in about three blocks!
That will be about a 20 minute trip and it is basically a straight shot.

Daren, that is one super Tom Cat. I have looked over those photos several times now. I have a Revell A and D variants in my stash and wish I could come close to what you have achieved here. I am particularly impressed with the consistently sharp demarcation of the camouflage.

That is one awesome build! I love that paint scheme! I knew the Navy tested some Ferris schemes, but I didn't know about a tiger stripe scheme. Great job!

I've wanted to do this one for awhile now and finally got ahold of some old Superscale decals. During the '86-'87 time frame, VF-213 experimented with some water-based camouflage schemes. I've found exactly one picture of this scheme. I did as much as I could from the picture and then used artistic license for the rest of the scheme. The kit is 1/48 Monogram Tomcat with Verlinden resin seats and Steel Beach intake covers. This will probably be my last completed model for awhile, as I have to prep for the IPMS National Convention and then school starts immediately after that and I have to get my classroom ready.
