The P-39 is one of several great old kits from Monogram of that vintage. Monogram transitioned from kits with working parts, e.g. retracting landing gear or folding wings, to more serious models like the Stuka, P-47, Kingfisher, etc. These are great old kits and as stated will not break the bank. I still have one of the P-39s in the original box as well as one of the "white box" vintage. Nicely done and thank you. I'm still trying to figure out how to post pictures.
