Thank you guys, Jim, the base I bought, flyingmule.com. There are heaps of different ones, tarmac, Russian tarmacs, aircraft carrier decks etc.

Very nice build! Was the base scratchbuilt or is it an available item?

On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3
This is a pretty nice kit, my only complaints is that the rear fuselage/tail section sandwiches together horizontally and the front fuselage halves sandwich vertically, so makes from some filling and sanding when they join.Main camo is Tamiya acrylics, Flory dark dirt wash and satin varnish finish it off.
I must say I am a huge fan of dark sea grey over sky camo
