Hi ;
I picked them up at my favorite flea market today .The Potez 540 is in an old looking box.
I cannot find any dates on the instructions either . The box flash is in the lower left corner and is yellow .The Heller name is black and below that , at the far right is the scale , it's red as is the capitols MVEE , the kit # is L 395. Decals are intact but heavily yellowed .
The Grumman Gosling is in a blister-pack and the series is series one . The date says 1973 . Now are they worth more than I paid ? I got both for $ 3.00. I am going to build them because I have a thing for odd looking planes and seaplanes of any kind .
Surprisingly the Potez is very well molded , I think it's from about the early sixties or seventies . The reason I bought it is , How many planes of a high wing type have you ever seen with the engines hanging on spars next to the fuselage and under the wings ?
The decals on the Grumman are toast .But that's what fine point brushes are for , aren't they ? Well , if anyone has any input I'm listening . Tanker - Builder
