mississippivolO is correct, it is light gull grey with white underside and control surfaces. I had to do a double take, that is a 3 blade prop on that puppy. Looking forward to seeing your build!
I think that pic is from a video game or something..
I've been known to kiss a fish or two, with a little bit of tongue. Don't judge me.
On the bench: Hasegawa BF109E
In the hanger: 1/48 Tamiya De Havilland Mosquito
In the trash: Revell 1/48 B-25J Mitchell
Im using it more as a "practice" model. Im just getting back into it but its been a long time. Im not sure it will be worth showing you.. LOL! I figured Id pick an easy color scheme, nothing to extravagent. I really want to practive panel line washes and stuff like that. We'll see how it goes. I ended up getting a 1/48 scale because most of the 1/32 scale Corsairs and mega bucks, figured Id try ona Tamiya $30 version first. Wish me luck!
Hey, Paulie. Looking forward to seeing that build. I've not done a corsair myself, but it was a great plane and I love seeing all the different versions people decide to do.
Very helpful! Thank you so much for the info!
Hey Paulie,
You're actually looking at full gray over white, but that scheme was on the AU-1 version of the Corsair. Check out this online article:

Hope this helps.
Cheers,

Looking to build the F4U-1A Corsair 1:32 like in this picture. Does anyone know the exact two color grays I would need to achieve this? Or better yet, is there a website where this information exists? Im fairly new to this so any help would be appreciated and thank you for your time!
