Alcock and Brown. Cool! I saw a replica fly once. Noisy big beast.

Frog made one in 1/72 and it sounds like a decent kit for the time. Like an old Airfix I would guess.

They seem to be pretty affordable on eBay, around $ 40 including shipping. If when WNW makes one in 1/32, it'd probably be fabulous and $ 300.00.

The Tamiya Fairey Swordfish is a real knock out. A beautiful kit. Amazon has it for $ 37.00.

I decided to branch out from tanks and take it to the sky. I have built only two airplanes in the last many years, the Lancaster and the Camel. Swordfish and Vimy cought my interest while I was looking at some photos.

I only found Swordfish at Spruebrothers but at $73 it is quite pricey. I am not looking for a kit with all the whistles and bells, detailed interior, PE parts etc, just a simple kit.

The Vickers Vimy, I haven't found.

Any lead and advise re these two planes is appreciated.

Many thanks.

Cheers...
