Canopy seam 1/48 Trumpeter J-10b
Posted by rkeele on Sunday, October 2, 2016 9:31 PM

Hello all,

I am currently building Trumpeter's 1/48 J-10b, but I'm wondering if the canopy seam that is on Trumpeter's part should actually be there or not. On the part, there is actually a heavy seam that runs about 80% of the canopy, then a lighter seam that runs the last 20%. I have looked at many pictures of real J-10b aircraft, but I have not been able to determine if the seams should be there. A few photos show what appears to be the heavy part of the seam, but I can't make out if the lighter seam is there or not. My gut feeling is to leave the heavy portion of the seam, and remove the lighter portion. Does anyone have more definitive information, or a link to a clear photo showing the canopy? Thanks in advance for any info.
