See there is a company I never looked up "Jasegawa".....

I have a set of decals from Two Bobs, "Eifel Eagles", ( http://www.twobobs.net/contents/en-us/p667.html)  jets I worked on while stationed with the 36th TFW out of Bitburg Germany. I will be doing 79-0025, the 525 TFS squadron jet and 84-0019 from the 53rd TFS.

Spent some time working 79-0025 and even the name of the crew chief is correct and a friend of mine.

84-0019, the pilot of this jet was my neighbor while living off base. Real nice guy and family. I launched him out for desert storm (before I deployed) and he had 2 mig kills.

Somehow or way I have worked on all the tail numbers supplied in this package

I'll vote for the Jasegawa kit.  I have a "C" and a "DJ" in the garage.  I have never seen the academy or great walls kits.

The monogram/Revell kit is actually a "A" model with, the last time I saw, decals for a "C" model from Kadens'a highly successful William Tell competition in the 80s.  This one will eventually become a ship from teh 5th F.I.S.

The GWH kit has better detail and fits better but has its own issues and cost more. That's all I got...

This is the stuff I'm looking for, thanks

Well, the Hasegawa kit has the most aftermarket a available for it, but that's because it's an old kit and it needs it. The GWH kit has better detail and fits better but has its own issues and cost more. That's all I got...

Hi all,

I know this is a question that goes down to each persons preference but I'm looking to get 2 F-15C's in 1/48th scale. I have read reviews and searched hi and low and confused myself with all the research so I'll just ask here........

What kit gives the best bang for the buck. I'm also willing to go what kit has the best after market details.

Thanks for your input. I guess this will also go down to what is at the local hobby shop.
