Beautiful model of one of my favorite planes.
"Whaddya mean 'Who's flying the plane?!' Nobody's flying the plane!"
Very nicely done. I am impressed with what you've done. Coincidentally, I just bought this same kit at a second hand store I took my wife to today. I haggled a bit with the vendor who had priced the kit at $5.99. It was opened and a few pieces were loose, so I didn't know if it was complete. He knocked the price down to $3.99 and after I got home, found out it was missing the figure and his arm. Great deal regardless.
I love these ugly planes too. Your air brush work looks really good. Makes it look so much more like camo! Bet you love the airbrush after these results.
In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list...NOT! Ha, added to it again - Viper MkVii, 1/32 THUD & F-15J plus a weekend madness build!
Thanks! I always just put them in, lol. I've noticed most kits don't come with the figures. In fact only 4 of the kits I've done have. 3 of them being Revell, the Apache, the Blue Angels F/A-18, and the A10. The 4th one was the Tamiya F-16 Thunderbird. I had even took a glance around for figures at my local hobby store to see if I could find some pilots to put in my 1/48 C-130, it's hung from the ceiling, and dropping cargo, but there is no one flying! Lol. Funny thing I just realized is I have 3 planes "in flight" none of which have figures.
for your first spray camo job that looks really good, Keyda. I love that you included the pilot as well. Most people will leave the figures out lol.
Overall I think you made a great looking model. :)

Greg Nicely done. And that was fast.

And that was fast.
Thanks, I'm a stay at home mom. I spent 2 entire days in my bedroom working on it, lol. That's pretty much how I work on everything, plug away at it, and do nothing else until it's done.
It is a good size plane. It barely fits on that shelf, I've already bumped the wing top twice. I may have to move it to a higher spot on the shelf, so I don't knock it over walking by it, lol. I seen one in person last year at our local airshow. I don't even really remember seeing it, but I did get a few pictures. I think it was just being overwhelmed by all the aircraft that was there. I was distracted by wanting to see everything, and get at least one picture.
Really nice work! And yeah, I didn't know how big a Warthog was until I built one. And then saw one in person, honkin' big plane!

Great job on the A-10. Especially the camouflage being your first time.

Finished up the A10 today. Decals went on super easily. This thing is so ugly it's just bad ass, lol. I had fun putting it together, and playing with my new homemade paint booth. I've realized I need a bigger "booth" though, or I will need to paint aircraft that is any bigger in sections, lol.
Good job on a build well done!
Great job, Keyda! Gotta be some kind of record for build speed on this kit. Another stash kit I've been itchin to build, along wiht the Monogram P-61 which I see in the background of some of your pics.
Again I say---Great!

XF-15DCC Looking good! I couldnt help but notice the decelerons are open on this kits. Can they be closed? Kevin

There's nothing in the instructions about closing them, but I'm assuming they could be modified to be closed.
I forgot to bring my phone upstairs while I was working, and I was just busy plugging away all day, lol. I'm not quite done yet. I got the decals started, there is so many little ones!

After some decals

Looks great thus far. Definitely among my favorites.
Nice progress on the A-10, and good work on the cockpit. Paint looks great so far, keep going.

Nicely done especially for your first time.
Ahah, I found it (the GB)....thank you!
You're coming right along and I look foward to following along on your A10. I love these planes and I might just start mine. One way or the other, thanks for the incentive.
First time doing a camo pattern with the airbrush. It's far from perfect, there's a few spots of splatter, but overall I'm happy with it. Hopefully make some more progress tomorrow.
Yes, ma'am, just scooting right along! Cockpit looks great.

Very nice start! Looking forward to the rest of the build.
Greg Looking good. You don't mess around, do you. There's a Thunderbolt GB going on?

No, I don't, lol. Once I get started I just keep at it. It's Sunday anyway, I have nothing better to do. Hubby's hunting, and it's chilly outside. Yep, GB started October 1st, runs until same time next year.
Lookin' good! That is a fun build with camo and the arsenal that comes with it. Have fun!
Max
Nice fast progress!

Started working on this one a few days ago for the Thunderbolt group build. Got to test out my home made spray booth for the first time, and it works rather well. Should keep hubby from complaining about fumes.
Waiting on the to set up, then I'll be painting the exterior in a camo pattern.
