That did turn out really well! Those markings are odd, but that paint is beautiful.

I agree with Toshi.  With the plane looking like that youd never guess it had that much issues.  Beautiful!

I wish I bought the Trumpeter or Zvezda Mig-29 as the Airfix one is awful! One of the landing gear legs was missing from the kit, and the amount of flash on the parts! I thought it was a limited run kit from the 70's or something. And there are some awful fits throughout the build. Airfix did replace the landing gear leg though.

As for the colour scheme, I am not sure if it is right, the decal call outs were mixes of gunze and seemed bizarre, I have an Akan Mig-29 set and guesstimated the colour from Gunze to Akan. I could not find any reference photos of the aircraft with these markings.

If it is totally wrong, oh well, it still looks like a Mig-29 and looks OK in my collection.
