Airfix has announced that they will be coming out with a new tool kit of the Sea Fury in 1/48! This should be real sweet!

Yes I saw one here at a show around '99 and fell in love with the beast! I was real close as she warmed up before take off and you could feel the power of the engine! A magniflicent aircraft!

Thanks for the heads up SP. Looks amazing. And neat article, I had no idea they were using LIDAR on actual museum aircraft to get the overall shape right.

Leave it to the Brits to consider 1/48 a "larger" scale!

Yes indeed a great looking model offering. 

 Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
