Very impressive build. You've done your usual great job on this kit.

Here it is all done in the colours of ZG 26 1944
It was actually a really nice kit, the detail is exelent in the cockpit and wheelwells, fit is good and the decals went on well.
The canopy was a pain to mask and paint but came out Ok.
I went for a highly weatered and faded look to the paint,I also used different "levels of shine" on the final clearcoat to help with the faded look, dirtied up the underside with pastel stains but I did go overboard with the "dust" on the wheels, I will tone it down a bit.

Paint is stock out the tin Humbrol RLM range and alclad clearcot over it all

Very nice, usually the higher end models have that kind of detail.  And then at times they will not!  LOL!

On my home PC...apparently I was logged out...I logged in and it went away...back to normal. Prior to that, couldn't do much. After looking at a thread, I'd have to hit the "back" arrow...could not navigate using the usual methods.

When I got on the PC at work, that block was there, too. I tried to log out, to log back in, but it wouldn't let me do anything...."Ctrl + r" did the trick...back to normal.

Thanx, I hope to get to paintng the last few bits this week, I am having a grazy time at the airfield with work to be done so models have to take a backseat a bit.

Theuns

I can see the "Recent Topics" banner top left but can't activate it.

I think the NSA want to keep us here in Africa "out of the loop "  LOL

I als ouse to have my avatar with the private mesage board in the top right area that is now blocked out :-(

Theuns

It isn't just you...it's a plague!

"Ctrl r" to refresh the page, got rid of that block for me.

I click on "home" up in the top bar...it shows the recent posts (12 or so), the furoms list is underneath those.

EXCELLENT work on the 110, BTW!!!

I really dig that kit...I've done three...due for another, as the most recent one is still pretty old and not so well done.

Guys I am baffled...

I see that the format of the forum has changed somewhat.

I use to be able to go straight to "Forums"  but now I need to go to "comunity" and then to forums.

There also seems to be a block over the area where I could start a new thread, maybe I am looking in the wrong place but how do I start a new thread now??

Is it only subscribers who can start new thread now?

Great paint and weathering Theuns! =] This really does look fantastic. Mottling can be quite tricky.

....It is just the 15 odd inches between the model and my peepers that becomes a tad  blurry.

How I pass my flight medical I dont know LOL.

Well I suppose the examiner isn't so concerned about you avoiding traffic that is within arm's reach! Good looking cockpit here Theuns.
