Mount of Captain Aleksei Aleyukhin, mechanics painted Aleksei's aircraft red just before the fall of Berlin, so that he could fly over in a "Red" aircraft.

A nice quick build, I used Tamiya, Vallejo and Gunze acrylics, Vallejo metal color and Gunze metalizer, Flory dark dirt wash and AK satin varnish. i did a tiny bit of chipping, being a special scheme I don't think i would have been to knocked a

Thank you for sharing the story with FSM forum members.  I for one have never heard of this, during the fall of Berlin.  As for your build, not only is it unique, it's exceptional in build and paint quality!

Very very excellent build Grant. Not only is that a great subject but, you really did it some justice. Beautiful paint job. Thank you for sharing it with us.
