It's nice to see a Hawker Typhoon in Canadian markings.  Especially when you did such a fantastic job on this build!

Nice job JT,

She looks like she's been rode hard !  Very nice weathering job.  What do you use for panel line washes ?  they look crisp - very nice.

I have that kit in my "to build" pile.  This thread makes me want to head down into the basement and start chopping parts from the sprue - but it's gettin kinda late.

I'll get to it in early 2017 I think.

Thanks, I just use normal oil paints, but I switched to the water mixable ones, they dry fast, but I still use normal paint thinner

Excellent build! Yes

The grey camou looks very light - is that your own mix of ocean grey, or is that just the degree of weathering, or perhaps both?

regards,

Jack

I use craft paint, I used a light blue to start and adjusted it with an oil filter. And the weathering. I added the last pic holding the model it shows the color better. My lighting seems to give a yellow tint to it.

Beautiful job and I really like the color scheme and markings.
