Modelers

Thanks for responses.

It seems to be a 'In the know' kind of plane.

You have to know a little bit about airplanes to even know what it was.

Air racing was big in the 30's. It went hand in hand with airplane development.

I might work a little smarter on this kit. Paint what I can and leave areas around

gluing points unpainted. We'll see.

Thanks!

Ah Yes ;

      The Lindberg Kit .Moving control surfaces . Wow ! To a ten year old kid it was awesome . To an old man who models , it was a pain in the A$$ ! This kit has something going for it . I just haven't figured what !

    That said , I did have have fun watching a sows ear turn into one of the neatest planes I have . I actually have four . All in different metallic pearl paint jobs . They look , well pardon me for saying this " CUTE  " in an airplane sort of way .

     Good Luck on your build . It can be a great model if you take your time and use every skill you have learned about building planes .  T.B.

My report is that I built that model as a kid in the '50s. About 60 years later I saw one in the Seattle Air Museum which BTW is a top notch collection of Aircraft.

Modelers

It looks like a simple kit.

Being away from hobby for awhile that's for me.

Now we're getting dialed in!

It's a Model Z as I remember from Wikipedia.

Happy Holidays!
