Nice job on this, i like how the scheme turned out.

But just to clear up your write up. I think you have confused two differant aircraft. The original Phantom was assigned to 100Sqn, but that was nothing to do with Tiger Force. She then went onto fly with 550Sqn and was finally scrapped in 1946. The orignal Phantom was EE139.

The aircraft you have done, PA474, was assigned to Tiger Force but never saw action as the war with Japan ended before she could be deployed. That is the aircraft now flown by the Battle of Britain memorial Flight. She wears the nose art of the Phantom and the Phantom Sqn callsign, HW-R on the right, but you notice it has a differant code, BQ-B, on the right.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Very nice lines on the camo! looks like you got those rondels to lay down smooth too.

in the first couple pics it looks like you took the camo over the cockpit glass? If you did very nice, if not then nice job with the photography as it looks like you did

In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list...NOT! Ha, added to it again - Viper MkVii, 1/32 THUD & F-15J plus a weekend madness build!

You gotta love the classic old Airfix Lanc. Nice work there! Any chance of a close up view of the nose art?

Painted and finished in the colors and markings of S.No. PA474, "Phantom of the Ruhr", RAF Bomber Command, a Lancaster that flew 121 sorties (a so-called "ton-up" Lancaster), originally assigned to 100 Squadron in June 1943, as part of the "British Tiger Force" assigned to attack Japan, but later transferred to 101 Squadron in November that year and finished the war as part of 550 Squadron at Ludford Magna.
