Anybody try Bondic yet for Nav light & landing lights yet? I just started experimenting. I notched out the wing tips then applied some Citidel dark blood looking color and some dark green directly to the surface. After drying a couple hours I applied a drop of Bondic. It is thick but levels and shapes pretty good. I then hit it with the UV light and bam! Some nice looking light lenses.
Not for landing lights (yet), but I tried it for the tiny cabin windows on a 1/288 Space Shuttle, and it worked a treat! Just like the ad said, set up instantly, and was dead-easy to sand and polish out. Also masked very well. I will be trying it for more applications as time goes on.
(I decided to try it when forum member Don Stauffer recommended its extra strength for things like small window inserts in a/c models. Should work well for those and helicopter clear parts, where there is typically very little 'frame' to attach those parts to.)

tempestjohnnyI'd like to see pics of that
If you go down to the tech assistance page at the bottom of the main forum page, look at my response on "multiple pics". Quick and easy, but you have to use a photo hosting site. Can't load directly from your computer.
Thanks for the assist sir!
