Thanks guys,

There is one change that I will make if I ever do this Batttle of Britain type scheme again on a Hurricane, Spitfire, or the Defiant that I have in the stash . . .   I'll use a light grey in place of the pure white on the underside.  I learned that after I finished this kit.  A light grey still appears very "white" against the other colors - it just looks better.

When I look at this pure white - it just appears to be too stark.

I stopped using pure black a while ago - but I think I will stop using pure white as well.  In modeling - as in life - there is very little that is Black and White.   Confused

It sure looks nice. I like the wheel tracks and I also noted in the top view how well you balanced the decals left and right on the fuselage!

In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list...NOT! Ha, added to it again - Viper MkVii, 1/32 THUD & F-15J plus a weekend madness build!

Hey all,

Just getting around to posting pics of this kit that I finished in September.

The scheme is fictional as it was built for a friend of mine (with the initials HR) as a gift.

I can't say enuf good things about this kit.  A super kit of my favorite A/C.
