John, the 262 is actually dead flat RLM 76. I saw the 262 that Planes of Fame had when they were still in Ontario in 1965 or 66, and was amazed at how rough the airplane was. So I did my best to convey that. Hopefully it will be more clear in the build log. The other two are certainly satin, as they never got many hours, especially the He-178.
Bish, overall it was a pretty easy build for a limited run kit, however there were a few minor snags. I'm not too sure how accurate it is, the canopy does not look quite right, and beyond that there is a video of it flying that is not too clear but it appears at least on that flight it was flown with only the windscreen. But, it gets the concept across just fine. I can't help but think that it could have been in the Disney Planes movie with no modification.
