I didn't know Zoukei Mura made a Phantom.  This looks like an excellent kit in excellent hands!  I've done their Shinden and Flying Wing both out of this world detailed kits.  You're doing a fantastic job!

I'll be following this build, as I had a friend who was an F4 crewchief for VF114 on the Kitty Hawk back around 71-72.  Was "Aardvark of the Month" twice.  Has since passed on.  Doing a 1/800 KH for his wife.  May have to do one of these for her as well.  What decal source for it?

Looks like a nice kit of the Phantom.

While cockpit drys start working on the landing gear . Pretty nice looking gear . I really like the hubs on the main tires. Landing great slides into the gear bay. So when done looks like the gear is hinged :) the engine detail is pretty nice especially the burner area .

That's a really nice looking kit, I love how the landing gear looks. I can't wait to see more.
